For these beautiful mother daughter portraits, photographer Kate Belle set out to capture the free spirit of Laura, an artist, and Laura’s daughter Kaylie, who is a creative spirit all her own. Kate shared, “I played a lot with color and texture, the soft blue of the crown and blanket the gorgeous wild kinky curly blonde hair they both have, and the crunchy popping orange color of the fall leaves.” Kate also had the idea of including a little painting scene with the two of them, and it gave them both an opportunity to let go and have fun together.
