This darling ice cream themed birthday party was inspired by one-year-old Calyn’s love of ice cream. Calyn’s mom, photographer Meegan Weaver, knew she wanted to create a party for her daughter that was fun, girly, and about something she loves, so this sweet theme fit the bill perfectly. Meegan found inspiration through Pinterest, using what she found to DIY her own handmade ice cream cone decor and fabric and doily garland. They also put together a cute little pretend Ice Cream Shoppe for Cayln and her cousins to play in. Of course no party would be complete without sweet treets, and Kathy’s Bakery created some cute items, from cake balls made to look like fallen ice cream scoops, to little ice cream cone shaped cookies.
