Expecting mom Kati’s free spirit inspired the beautiful location for these forest maternity photos captured by Morgaine Owens of Pure Light Studio. The photos convey such a sense of calm peace and a timeless quality. Morgaine shared, “The forest location and autumn look to the landscape matched her hair and complexion perfectly! Kati’s adventurous spirit allowed for a fun session in the forest, and images that truly reflect her west coast lifestyle. I’m sure her baby will treasure these images, and be forever reminded of his/her place of birth!”
Pure Light Studio also captured some gorgeous indoor shots in a light, soft palette. One super sweet touch is the necklace Kati is wearing in some of the photos. The necklace is made up of a collection of beads given to her by her friends at her shower, which were then assembled the same day by one of her friends who is a jewelry designer. Now she has a beautiful piece of jewelry to always reminded her of her wonderful friends and their support. Too sweet and such a great idea for a group shower gift!
